One day trip

Early in the morning i was so sleepy, but woke up and prepare for a day trip to Mornington. Hehe, took some sleep during the travel for about 1 hour. It was a fishing trip, where we going out to the sea and fish some big ones. Although the sun was hot, but the wind was so cold and chill >.< "We will tell them that we caught a lot of fish, but we're too hungry and eat it." "Yeah, and we say the fish bite my finger, then i throw it back to the sea." "How about say we give to other peoples cause they didn't even caught any of them?" * these will only belief by dumb dumb and small kids...no offence :P The fishing trip took about 3 hours, and they also provided breakfast (bread with sausages). On the way back to home, we stop by a botanic shop which sell different species of plants, from orchids, cactus to ornament flowers.

Market

Around 8 something, i went to the market to buy foods for the meal today. The market here was clean, dry and refreshing (unlike the market in Malaysia, u know what i mean :p). The fruits, vegetables ... all were fresh and varieties...

Dad wanna buy something back to Malaysia. So one of he's plan was purchasing different kinds of nuts..walnut..chestnut...cashew nut...macadamia nut...pistachio... (nuts could be healthy food, especially it's good for heart).

What a day~

Park

A conservation park located behind our house backyard. My uncle decided to have a walk after dinner. It was 8pm and the sky was still bright. Although I'm staying in suburb area, but the environment here was cool and refreshing. Birds flying around...Wild rabbits hopping and hiding... but we gotta beware of fox cause it might attack us. Green grass and tress were everywhere.

I'm staying in Timbertop, which is a residential area in Rowville. Bungalows were popular here, with different sizes and architectures.

Time adjustment

Time difference between Malaysia and Australia (Melbourne) was 3 hours. eg. 10am in Melbourne, in Malaysia would be 7am. I was trying to adjust the biological clock. It was summer here, so the daytime was much longer than the night.

It was 8.41pm , the sky was still so bright...

First day in Melbourne

For the past 8 hours on plane, my butt was almost numb. I can't sleep well because there's a woman at the back, sit with the legs on my seat. She kept shaking her legs, and it's really annoyed me >.<

A series of process in the airport. First will be the immigration, where the officers will checked our passport and visa. They were very conscious about illegal comers. Then was the custom part where they will checked the luggages. I gotta remind u all that u must declare medicine,drugs.... no egg and bird products was allowed to bring into the country. If you get caught, the products will be confisticate and fined heavily.

The weather was cloudy and cool, with the temperature approximately 23 degree celcius. The wind was chill..Aw...It was cold >.<

My uncle and aunt fetched us back to their place, where I will be living with them. What I surprise was they would less tolls in highways/freeways compare to Malaysia. However the travel distances between one place to another was very far.A picture taken from the backyard of the house. My uncle said there were birds and wild rabbits around that area. I can't wait to explore !

Penny's birthday + Farewell party for me

Grace has suggested to throw a gathering for us before I depart to Australia. So we have it in a steamboat restaurant in Sri Petaling. She promised me to bring her hubby because I haven't meet with him before, plus her wedding would be in March 2007 (which I couldn't attend unless she spend me for the air ticket :P ). No comments about the food. We always came on time, only Eric was the one came late ( I mean late for 1 hour).

It was the dessert time, a pandan layer cake was bought. The cake looked nice to eat, but when you eat it, it's another story.
"The cake taste weird"
"Yeah, why it's that sour?"
"Aren't there suppose to be sweat pandan cake?""Is it with the pandan kaya?"
"But it doesn't suppose to be in sour taste..."
"Well, we had to wait till the next day, see anyone of us get diarrhea."

Btw, the next day, nobody get's it :P

"Ring Ring Ring" is one of the pop song in the album of . In this album there are 5 new songs and some collection songs from previous album. "Ring Ring Ring" is also one of my favourite song (i convert it to my caller ringtone and ringtone). S.H.E. has published 8 albums for almost 6 years, and their talent has always been recognised all around the world. This group band consists of Selina-Hebe-Ella with different backgrounds, voices and talents, however their voices combines together and sing perfectly :P S.H.E. is the best !!!

I came accross a website called "Learn Chinese Through Music". "Ring Ring Ring" song has been chosen as the learning material (kinda weird, but I love this song very much). They had even translated the song to English. This songs express the feeling of the modern people on love through handphone.

Happy New Year 2007

Around 6 something, i drove to Sunway to meet with Penny. Penny's friend has booked a table in Restaurant Yuen (buffet-style steamboat). Gosh, when I reached there, the place was crowded with 'meat-eaters'. We stood and waited for an hour then we went in. Of course we went and EAT !!!

Yeah, we enjoyed our meal ^^ I meet some Penny's friends also, they all can play till 'crazy' (Haha, i was one of them too). There's a sign said 'Do not leave any food behind'. So we decided to create a new recipe. A cup of cocktail with the mix of tom yam soup, chili sauce, raw egg, ice cream with different favorite... Ew.... Can't stand it... and somebody drank it >.<

After our dinner, it was kinda early for the countdown. To avoid the traffic-jam into Sunway Pyramid, we had a walk-walk for about 15 mins. Then we go for bowling (and this time, no more LONGKANG... plus i'm not the last position. Hahaha).While we were having fun with the bowling, we noticed the next lane was played by some kids. Some were pro, but some did badly until the bowling pins bounced off to the drain...

The time was almost there after our game ended. We walked out from the mall, trying to walk pass all the 'obstacles' (snow and ribbon sprays), and tried to come out as clean as possible. But turns out, no survivors... The celebration of countdown in Sunway was still consider 'OK'... but I will consider to go The Curve next year.

Woo hooo.. Happy New Year 2007 !!! ( I wish...)

The night was still early, we went for mamak-ing in Restaurant Murni in SS2. I fetched Penny, she told me her friend didn't dare to sit her car because she drive recklessly. Well, if compared with me...Like today, the lane was supposed to be opposite direction, but I drove in, pressing the accelerator so hard till I reached to another street. Penny stunted for awhile while I was amazed :P

We celebrated Penny's friends birthday, and I'm trying to fulfil mu hunger with: blackcurrent fruity ice-blended + roti plant with pandan layer cake as the topping. Conversation, jokes and laugh were surrounded in this table. All of sudden, a 'jie jie' pops up in my life...She was getting crazy and excited when chatting with each other... Some of the conversation i remembered:

Sis: Didi, just now so many people there, and all stand so close, see your front part already 'bo liao lo...

Me: Aiyo, how ler...jie jie also no more liao lo, from B cup to A minus liao...

Sis: How ler..?

Me: I heard some old folks said must drink alot of papaya milk, then only can add on the size...

Sis: oh, then we go Murni, see got papaya milk or not, then e must drink at least 10 cups to go for E cup...

It's 2 something in the morning, dad called me to go home... Aiks... I'm a good boy again... Drove up to 130kmph (still consider ok la, cause i'm driving Kenari...). Bath and sleep~

Melbourne?

Where to go after SAM? Which university am I going? What course am I taking? ..... and finally Where am i decide to go?

MELBOURNE

Why Melbourne? Why not other place? Why not study locally?

Melbourne, a city in Victoria, Australia.Most of the Asians prefer to go there than other places in Australia, which included me. I choose there because most of the famous/prestigious universities located there, the University of Melbourne, Monash University, RMIT... Secondly, my relatives and grandparents had migrated to Australia, and I will be staying with them (well, maybe temporary) as I could save a lot money on accommodation and food. SAM programme was recognised especially in Australia, and as you know the name of the course SAM- South Australian Matriculation. Most of the universities I applied early of the year have met all the requirements. Well, study in Australia would be a good experience for me... Why not do it locally? Hm... in term of the money part, it's cheap study here. However, I only have few choices here, and not all universities are well known, well-equipped, good environment, lecturers.... I'm not to look down or make critics on them, but as most of the people knows the education in Malaysia.. Next thing, I'm interested in science course,especially biotechnology nowadays... but here's a catch... In Malaysia, the 'bio-valley' developed too slow, and the job opportunity would be so low..I can't imagine after studied and comes out jobless...Sorry to be realistic, but WE ARE IN REALISTIC WORLD.

After took my results from Taylor's college, I head straight to IDP to settle my uni stuff. And I have decided to study in the University of Melbourne, taking the Bachelor of Science. That's all, I don't want to think anymore first...

Christmas at home

Easily get tired these days, so this year of Christmas I decided to stay at home. Take some good rest in order to settle my university applications as soon as possible. From tomorrow onwards will spend most of the time thinking, deciding which uni and course to go , and submit my results to them.

Spend whole day at home, have nice dinner with my family...

Lonely Christmas...Honey, where are you? I miss you...

SAM results officially released

Can't manage to fight the sleepy bug flying around, sleep for 2-3 hours.

'Message received: Hey Charlie, the results released already, go to the ssabsa website and check it out'. I paused awhile, the anxious and worry feelings feel into my heart. Quickly jump off from bed and online to check. However, the SSABSA website was packed with all the SAM students, desperate to check their results, included me. Tick tock.... I can't wait any longer.. then pei san told me to call direct to SSABSA. And of course i called them.

"This is SSABSA .... how can i help u?"
"I would like to know my results now."
"Can i get your personal information? ......."
"Your TER score...aha... 94.85"
"Woohoo....Thanks !!!"

I was overjoyed with the results i obtained. Although i did badly in my ESL, but i still managed to get high score... Depression healed instantly... Happiness and delight mood overwhelmed me !!! Well, my score did reached my expectation, but abit disappointed that i can't get straight A's... Parents were also happy with it, and keep saying: " Well, you did your best, don't blame yourself". But if I could...I would get better results...Sad... Well, I just had to accept it. After all, most of the universities that I had applied have reached the requirement for the TER score. No worries now ^^

SAM results going to release

I can't sleep for the whole night... I'm getting nervous now... What if i did badly? what if my results not qualified for my course.. what if...

Well, I kept remind myself, it's over, i gotta faced the problem now...

Insomnia again... but this time plus worry and uncomfortable in my heart...

Celebrate 'Dong Zhi' with SHE

Supposedly every year of this day i will celebrate 'Dong Zhi' with my family (well, it's seems to be a Chinese custom where every member of the family gather together for reunion dinner). But this year the plan changed, I would be celebrate with SHE !!! For the first time out of this day, i feel abit uncomfortable because I'm always the obedient boy :P

Around 4pm, I listened MYFM 101.80 for the interview between SHE. It was delayed due to dunno wad reasons. wait till 4.30pm finally they came, but the interview last for half an hour. After that I prepared myself and head straight to Penny's house (I dunno the way,so decided to go early). I had dinner with Penny's family before going to the Jusco Cheras Selatan in Sg. Long (that time only knew that Cheras was so big...).

Before I reached Penny's house, I pass by the Jusco and spotted alot 'dummies' already waited in front of the stage. Well, they were the 'loyal' fans of SHE... under the hot sun, squatting and sweating... Me and Penny reached there around 6.30pm, the place already crowded with people, what the most disappointed was they divided 2 zones, i was the green zone, which seems far from the stage. What to do...find a nice spot to stand >.<. Well I guess we gotta buy the DIGI package in order to get into yellow zone..Duh..I'm a MAXIS user, ok?

SHE came to the spot around 7.20pm, which suppose to start at 7pm...Waited so long, my leg kinda cramped. There are a few events which included open ceremony of GREEN BOX ( sub of REDBOX), singing session which only sing 3 songs (触电, 怎么办, 我们怎么了). and followed by autograph session...I didn't go for it because...TOO MANY PEOPLES... Gosh, they lined up approximately 100m away from stage, and consists of 3 lines...

So me and Penny ended up having a tour in Jusco Cheras Selatan. The environment was very clean and nice, some Christmas decoration and mostly were restaurants..fast food,chinese,korean,japanese...drinks...ice-creams...

After touring we went for a drink in 海螺, a relaxing place where some talented singers will have performances. We have drinks and chatting among our life..career...future...

I fetched Penny backed home around 10 something, then i headed back to the highway i supposed to go, but something happened... I was driving into the right lane, but suddenly an unknown Proton block my right path...I tried to speed up so I can cut into the further lane, but that stupid driver seems wanna race car with me.... Eh, i'm driving a Kenari la, how fast could I be... I'm a careful driver de :P... The battle last for a minutes where i meet a junction, too fast... and i ended up in the left lane, which leads me to unknown highway... Started to worry that time, it was dark and less car...I drove about 5Km and I reached a toll, then i ask whether the highway leads to Puchong, she said yes and very short distance. The highway was Kajang Silk Highway. In the end i ended up back to Puchong which pass by 4 tolls, RM4 gone and took me almost 50Km back... There goes my petrol...

I'm so glad that I reached home on time :P

Ex-PBSM gathering

For the long...long...planning...calling...inviting...At last our Ex-PBSM 2005 gathering was held in Mid valley Megamall at 11am sharp. But due to some problem I faced ( painting job at home + traffic jam + festive season ), I reached there around 12pm. ( Don't blame me, somebody were lot later than me..:P).

Aw, I'm hungry..first thing was to fulfil my food desire. We ate in Pizza Hut, chatting about everyone current and future plans...Then we moved our butt in order to burn some calories. The mall was rather packed with tonnes of peoples, squeezing every single each, stepping each others' feet, the air was getting stuffy..I'm gonna faint soon... (what to do, it's almost Christmas, and it's MEGA SALES!!!).

In the centre court, there's dancing and singing performances + (present give away and photo taking session for RM15). We just stood at the stage side because the front stage were so crowded, and we managed to watch the performance plus the performer's butt (sorry,it's not my fault).

I would said that, the winner of the decoration of all the shopping mall goes to... MID VALLEY !!! However I would prefer the last year decoration with the them: white christmas. This year was very colourful... Well, some snapshots from our gang.

Around 4 something, me and Penny went to watch 'Colic'

Colic is a syndrome found in infants, which causes infants to cry
continuously for hours. The reason behind this illness is usually credited by medical expects to a number of factors. However, some people believe that it's linked to something supernatural."Colic" tells a story of a couple (Pongpob and Phraeploy) who have a shotgun wedding upon discovering that Praeploy has unexpectedly become pregnant. The night before Praeploy delivers the child, the house next to theirs catches on fire.When the baby is delivered, and is brought to their house, he screams and cries with no reason. The doctor considers the baby has colic, and tells the couple that the ailment will disappear when the baby turns 3 to 6 months old. Several months later, the baby still hasn't stopped crying...while the family's members encounter to mysterious and unexplained experiences.

The movie was rather disappointed, not much horror substances, but i can said only 3-4 parts that last for 2-3 mins for the scary part. My rate of terrified reaction was so low, but it's enough to show Penny that she promised herself not to watch horror movie with me =.=" (because whenever any scary part i will tends to scream and shake the chair :p), that's her reason...

Love and marriage

Love or relationship?
A once student asked a teacher, "What is love?"

The teacher said, "In order to answer your question, go to the paddy field and choose the biggest paddy and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick again."

With an exciting heart, the student went to the field, and go through the first row, he saw a big paddy, just to pick but then he hesitate and ponder…..
“Maybe there is a bigger one later.”

He didn’t pick that paddy and continue to walk through, this time, he saw another bigger paddy... but he still think
“Maybe there is another even bigger paddy waiting for him?”

After that, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he start to realize that the paddy is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he had missed the biggest, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to the teacher empty-handed.

The teacher told him, "That is Love, you keep looking for a better person, but when later you realized, you have already missed the best person...."

Feeling disappointed, the student asked his teacher again.
"What is marriage then?"

The teacher said, "In order to answer your question, go to the corn field again and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: You can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

Then, the student went to the corn field.

This time, he was very careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reached the middle of the field, he picked on a medium corn that he was satisfied with, and came back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "This time, you bring back a corn.... you looked for one which is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get because you had being regretted once and…….....this is Marriage.

Friends Forever

Woohooo...Long time didn't sing K liao...Today seems to be a gathering, with some old friends of 10 years friendship between each other. This could be a memorable day for us since the last time we got met together for almost more than half a year ago. I miss them so much !!

Once I reach at the LRT station, i thought i will be late ... well somebody arrive later than me (Eric and Carina). We took LRT to Bandar Tun Razak cause Penny will be fetching us to Neway in Leisure Mall Cheras. The driving skill of Penny.. NO comment... but her front mirror took my attention, indeed a huge front mirror which allows people to view better and no need to observe the side mirror.

When we reach there, only 4 of us arrived. So...we started to sing first lo, no need waste time ma...Later on, Grace (our former primary school computer teacher, who already resigned and work in other company) with her friends arrived. She took her wedding photos for us...Time passed so fast, she going to get married... (Big girl liao lo, at last can get married, must 'sang sang seng seng' o.hahaha..). She even gave us some photos as souvenirs for us, and also the map to her new house so we can visit (well, the truth is so we can kacau them).

Grace Au

Grace Au, our 'big sister' in our clan. We met her during Standard 6 (2000) in SRJK (C) Choong Wen. She's the person in charge in the 'Frontpage project contest'. Although she's our teacher and older than us, but we seems to be very very close together especially in the project process. Sometimes we even hang out together. She's seems to be a very serious girl during teaching, but in the free time, she could be play as crazy as us. This seems to be unique for us especially the age gap that didn't separate us for these 10 years till now.

Later on, Elaine (a friend of Grace, who we met before during a trip to Pulau Pangkor in 2003) and her bf came for the gathering. For the two hours we chat,sing and eat. And of course we took some photos before we left.
